In 2012 a few sailors with new acquired J24s sat around a table at the St. Lucia Yacht Club with a few Pitons and organized a regatta. They invited some Bajans and Martinicans to come to race around Rodney Bay. The Mango Bowl Regatta which saw sailors from Martinique and Barbados joining Saint Lucian sailors for competitive and fun racing in Rodney Bay. Still hosted by the St. Lucia Yacht Club, the Mango Bowl Regatta has made its mark on the Caribbean sailing calendar and has become known as Saint Lucia’s premiere regatta.

The weekend of November 25-27 will see sailors from Saint Lucia, Martinique, Grenada, Trinidad, Barbados and St. Vincent excited and ready to get back on the water after a dry almost three years of waiting through a global pandemic.

Two days of racing, music and dancing, rum, coveted mango bowl prizes, great vibe, good friends old and new. Nothing better!!
